We are delighted to introduce our Swim Camp Open Water Adult Series for this season 2023.
Our series is focused towards covering all aspects of open water swimming and will run over the summer months.
Our sessions will be structured to include swimmers of the same skill level.
We keep our swimmer-to-coach ratio low, so we can give each of you the time and attention you deserve during every session.
We are focussing on technique and training advice for open water swimmers and triathletes with a holistic approach to maximise the swimmer’s mental, technical and physical strengths.
Our positive coaching style and instant feedback will bring you to the next level and help you to achieve your swimming goals.

If you have never experienced open water swimming, or if you have, but are nervous about getting back in, or if you just want to try out SwimCamp, then you should sign up for one of our try-it-out sessions.
These classes are the perfect way to get you used to swimming in open water safely, with an experienced team showing you the basics and getting you used to the pleasure of swimming outdoors.

Who is it for?
This session is perfect for swimmers who have no experience in the Open Water or just wish to tryout our session to get advise on their Open Water journey. Swimmers should be able to swim up to 25m comfortably without stopping!
We want all swimmers to have the confidence to enjoy the experience of swimming in the open waters. The speed and flow of each clinic will adapt to the needs and ability of the swimmers involved. Our highly experienced, dedicated coaches will be there to support, encourage and guide you through the process.

Open Water Confidence Booster for Adults - Seapoint Beach
Level: Beginner/ Dipper
This class is for dippers who want to learn how to stay safe in open water. Increase your confidence and boost your comfort!
✅ Who is it for? For all dippers who would like to learn more about the open water in general and how to keep themselves safe. This course will increase your confidence and boost your comfort in the open water. Participants should be able to float and tread water.

[Technique Clinics] Open Water/ Sea Swimming Intensive Sessions for Adults
In this clinic, we focus on endurance and distance in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

Swimmers should be able to swim a continuous distance of 200m, be comfortable out of their depth and have experience in the open water.
We want all swimmers to have the confidence to enjoy the experience of swimming in the open waters. The speed and flow of each clinic will adapt to the needs and ability of the swimmers involved. Our highly experienced, dedicated coaches will be there to support, encourage and guide you through the process.

💁♀️ Our Open Water Swimming Sessions: Questions & Answers
Our goal is to provide you with a proper swimming lesson in the sea. It also means 30+ minutes in the water. We believe that it is imperative for you to develop confidence and learn the essential swimming skills in order to be able to fully enjoy the open water. These skills include breath control, body positioning, timing, and many others. In May, the Irish Sea is a bit warmer, so our sessions will be more enjoyable.
First things first: You should be able to float and tread water. If you are unsure of which event to attend, we recommend registering for one of our beginner sessions. We are delighted to welcome you and determine which level is appropriate for you. Alternatively, you can use our contact form or Whatsapp us. Let’s talk.
Many people have this fear when they are swimming in the open sea, and we are here to help you overcome it. A great way is to learn how to swim and practice in a pool before venturing into the sea.
😀 Also, if you send us a message or call, we can arrange to add you to a smaller group with other similar-level swimmers.
All of our swimming sessions take place in a safe and supportive environment. In order to provide a realistic swimming experience, we place our own buoys in the water.
A Wetsuits (of any type), silicone swim hats, goggles, and a swim tow float. During the month of May, we strongly recommend wearing a wetsuit. If you’re used to swimming without a wetsuit all year round, you’ll be fine.
We accept payments by Credit Card and Debit Card. Payments can be made on the spot in certain situations and only following a consultation.
All payments run through Stripe, so you don’t have to worry. We accept all major Credit Cards and Debit Cards. If there is an issue with the payment, please contact us and we are happy to find a solution with you.
All payments are non-refundable. Unused camp fees may be applied to a future camp within one year of purchase date. In the unlikely event Swim Camp cancels a clinic session, a new date will be provided. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide refunds for no shows.
