Mallorca Swim Camp: Five Days That Are Actually About You
Advanced Swim Training for Masters Swimmers & Triathletes | Led by Level 3 Swim Ireland Coach
We’re heading to Mallorca (again) – September/October 2026
This isn’t your typical swimming holiday where you do a few leisurely lengths then hit the beach. This is five days of proper training, individual coaching, and actually focusing on your swimming – with a group of people who get it.
Same Mediterranean sunshine, same brilliant training conditions, same thing that keeps people coming back year after year.
“This swim camp exceeded all my expectations! With fantastic coaching and a supportive group, I pushed my limits and left with new friends and unforgettable memories. Can’t wait for the next one!” – Santina, Dublin
Individual Coaching (Not Just Group Sessions)
Multiple coaches means you actually get watched. Individual feedback on your stroke, your turns, that breathing pattern that’s slowing you down. Swimming coaching doesn’t work when you’re just another body in the lane.
Pool & Open Water Training
Five sessions in a 50m pool – proper technique work, endurance sets, race-specific drills. Three to four open water sessions covering sighting, drafting, and dealing with conditions that aren’t perfectly flat. Sessions tailored to your level.
The Community Bit (This Actually Matters)
Five days training with swimmers from all over – Ireland, the US, Spain, Denmark. You push each other, talk swimming over meals, and end up with mates who get why you care about your 100m splits. People stay connected after. They share results, compare notes, plan races together.
Recovery That Makes Sense
Five strength and conditioning or yoga sessions built for swimmers. Because training hard without recovering properly is just asking for trouble. Targeted mobility work, core strength, the stuff that actually helps your swimming.
Multiple Coaches. Individual Attention. Actual Progress.
Pool sessions focus on technique refinement and building proper endurance. Open water work covers sighting, drafting, dealing with chop, and all those things that feel completely different from lane swimming.
Why Mallorca Works
Mallorca’s where European national teams come to train. There’s a reason for that.
Olympic-standard 50m pool minutes from protected Mediterranean bays. Proper facilities, safe open water spots, year-round swimming conditions that Ireland… doesn’t have. Within one day, you’re doing technical work in the pool, then open water practice in calm waters.
September/October weather? Spot on for training. Warm enough to enjoy it, not so hot you’re melting between sessions.
Why THIS Camp Works
Who’s Coaching You
Susan Dillon – Head Coach & Co-Founder
Level 3 Swim Ireland, Level 2 Open Water qualified. Susan has coached Leinster squads, masters swimmers, and youth development programmes. Recently completed sports psychology studies. She’s also a seriously accomplished open water swimmer herself – including a 26.7km Lake Zurich swim. She knows what it feels like in the water because she’s done it.
Manuela Laudon – Co-Founder & Coach
Level 2 Teacher/Coach Swim Ireland. Mum to two competitive swimmers with a strong finance background. Manuela keeps the camp running smoothly while coaching throughout the week.
The SwimCamp Team
Susan and Manuela lead a team of qualified coaches in Mallorca. Multiple coaches means you actually get individual attention, not one person trying to watch 20 swimmers.
Between us, we speak English, German, Spanish, Greek, and more – so you’ll find someone who speaks your language.

Five Days That Are Actually About You
When was the last time you had five days just for your swimming? No work emails, no ‘I should really be doing that thing,’ just training, coaching, recovery, and swimmers who get why this matters.
Each day follows a rhythm: morning pool session with individual coaching, open water work (conditions dependent), strength or yoga for recovery. Then time to rest, chat with other swimmers, or sit by the pool thinking about absolutely nothing.
Sessions adapt to your ability – we’re not running a one-size-fits-all programme. Intensity builds through the week, and if conditions are perfect for a longer open water session, we take it.
Swimming sessions tailored to each swimmer’s needs. Session length varies depending on ability.
We’ll send you the detailed itinerary closer to camp.
