This isn’t your typical swimming holiday where you do a few leisurely lengths then hit the beach. This is five days of proper training, individual coaching, and actually focusing on your swimming – with a group of people who get it.

Mallorca’s where European national teams come to train. There’s a reason for that.

Olympic-standard 50m pool minutes from protected Mediterranean bays. Proper facilities, safe open water spots, year-round swimming conditions that Ireland… doesn’t have. Within one day, you’re doing technical work in the pool, then open water practice in calm waters.

September/October weather? Spot on for training. Warm enough to enjoy it, not so hot you’re melting between sessions.

Level 3 Swim Ireland, Level 2 Open Water qualified. Susan has coached Leinster squads, masters swimmers, and youth development programmes. Recently completed sports psychology studies. She’s also a seriously accomplished open water swimmer herself – including a 26.7km Lake Zurich swim. She knows what it feels like in the water because she’s done it.

Manuela Laudon – Co-Founder & Coach
Level 2 Teacher/Coach Swim Ireland. Mum to two competitive swimmers with a strong finance background. Manuela keeps the camp running smoothly while coaching throughout the week.

When was the last time you had five days just for your swimming? No work emails, no ‘I should really be doing that thing,’ just training, coaching, recovery, and swimmers who get why this matters.

Each day follows a rhythm: morning pool session with individual coaching, open water work (conditions dependent), strength or yoga for recovery. Then time to rest, chat with other swimmers, or sit by the pool thinking about absolutely nothing.

Sessions adapt to your ability – we’re not running a one-size-fits-all programme. Intensity builds through the week, and if conditions are perfect for a longer open water session, we take it.

This week is tailored for improver swimmers. If you can swim 50m without stopping, you’re welcome. Shorter 1.5-hour pool sessions with lots of individual feedback, gentle introduction to open water at your own pace, and plenty of time to socialise and relax. Do as much or as little as feels right for you. Perfect for building confidence in both pool and sea.

Common Questions

You need to be able to swim already. This isn’t learn-to-swim – it’s training camp. We’ve got masters swimmers chasing PBs, triathletes working on their swim leg, and strong fitness swimmers who want focused development. If you can do continuous lengths and want to improve, you’ll fit in.

No problem. About half our swimmers haven’t. We start with the basics – sighting, dealing with chop, breathing in less-than-perfect conditions. Three to four coached sessions means you build confidence gradually. By day five, you’ll wonder why you were worried.

Colònia Sant Jordi – a small coastal town on the south coast of Mallorca, about 45 minutes from Palma airport. The Bestcentre Sports Pool (our 50m training facility) is right there, and the protected Mediterranean bays for open water sessions are within minutes. It’s where serious swimmers come to train, not where tourists crowd the beaches.

Five pool sessions (50m), three to four open water sessions, five strength/yoga recovery sessions, four nights Full-Board at a 4 Star Hotel in Colonial Sant Jordi, and airport transfers. Individual coaching throughout. Flights, tourist tax (€1-4/day), and that group dinner on the last night are on you.

Yeah, we can arrange a double room for you. Your partner only pays for their accommodation – they don’t need to book the full camp package. They can enjoy Mallorca while you’re training. Fair warning: they might get bored watching you swim.

Just the room setup and price. Single room is €1,450, double is €1,350 per person. Both get the same training, coaching, and camp experience.

Recovery sessions (strength/yoga), meals together, rest time, chat with other swimmers. Some people go for a coffee, some crash by the pool, some just enjoy having five days with zero work emails. It’s your time – use it how you want.

Yeah, we build breaks between swimming sessions. Triathletes can fit in runs along the coast or bike sessions. Timing varies by day, but there’s enough space between swim sessions if you want extra training. Or just use it for recovery – entirely up to you.
