Masters Swimming Dublin
Structured Training for Swimmers Who Want More Than Just Lengths
Masters Swimming That Actually Makes You Faster: Performance-Driven Masters Swimming Classes in Dublin
We get it – you can swim. You’re past the “learning to float” stage. But you’re stuck doing the same sets, the same pace, and wondering why nothing’s changing. That’s where Masters comes in.
Coach Susan and her experienced coaching team run every session with a plan. Not just “do 20 lengths of freestyle” – actual coaching. They’ll break down your stroke, sort out your breathing timing, fix that thing your catch does that’s costing you speed. You’ll get detailed feedback on technique, pacing strategy, and how to read the water in open-water situations. Whether it’s pool racing, triathlon, or a sea swim off Sandycove, you’ll leave every session knowing something you didn’t before.
And then there’s the group. Masters swimmers who’ve been turning up week after week, pushing each other through hard sets, sharing tips on wetsuits and race-day nerves. People actually know each other here. You’ll recognise faces, have a laugh between intervals, maybe grab a coffee after. It’s the kind of training environment where everyone’s chasing their own goals but nobody’s doing it alone.
💁♀️ You can join our regular Masters swimming sessions or take it a step further and become a SwimCamp Masters Swimming Club member – which gets you extra savings, more training options, and the full community experience: organised events, open water swims, and a group that’s always up for the next challenge.
This isn’t your only session of the week – it’s the one that makes all the others count.
Proper Training, Not Just Turning Up and Swimming
Technique That Actually Works
Detailed stroke analysis, not just vague “pull harder” advice. Susan watches, corrects, and explains why – so the improvements stick whether you’re in a pool, a lake, or the Irish Sea.
Building Real Endurance
Push your limits and expand what you can handle in longer swims. Structured sets that build the stamina you need for marathon and open-water challenges.
Race-Ready Skills
Pacing strategy, sighting in open water, handling race-day conditions – the stuff that separates training from actually performing when it matters.
Fits Into Your Bigger Picture
Training for a triathlon, Iron Man, or open water race? These sessions give you the structure and know-how to build a proper weekly training plan around. We’re not trying to be your only session – we’re making your other training more effective.

Our Masters Swimming Sessions: Questions & Answers
The Masters swimming sessions at SwimCamp are designed to challenge each swimmer both technically and in terms of endurance. The sessions are structured so as to push and encourage swimmers to get the most out of their time in the water, both during the session and in other sessions they participate in during the week.
Swimmers who are training for an event such as a triathlon, Iron Man, open water race, or marathon swim can use the session to gain the information and structure they need to incorporate into their own weekly training plan.
