Open Water Confidence Swim Clinics - Clontarf Baths (Single Sessions)
✅ Who is it for? For all dippers who would like to learn more about the open water in general and how to keep themselves safe. This course will increase your confidence and boost your comfort in the open water. Participants should be able to float and tread water.

No need to worry about choppy water conditions in a controlled environment.
Stay within your depth until you are comfortable moving into deeper waters.
Experts close at hand in prime position to provide constant feedback.
Warmer temperatures than the sea to break in your resistance to colder temperatures.

Open Water Swimming Series - Clontarf Baths (Single Sessions)
✅ Who is it for? For all those swimmers who are interested in Open Water Swimming and wish to become more knowledgeable about how to interact with the open water. This course will refine your skills, increase your confidence and boost your comfort in the open water. Suited to all open water enthusiasts and triathlete’s.
To participate in this clinic, you should be comfortable with swimming a continuous distance of 50m without stopping. Clontarf Baths is a deep pool, therefore all participants should be confident out of their depth.
✅ Why should I join?
Get a feel for swimming in the open salt water, in a safe controlled environment.
Focus on open water techniques without worrying about the conditions. It doesn’t matter if it’s raining or windy.
Practice your open water skills in a 40m salt water pool.
Train your endurance/stamina in the open water just as you would in an indoor pool.
Get constant feedback from your coach on how to improve your open water skills before going into the less controlled sea.

We recommend our Open Water Swimming Term for swimmers who wish to improve their overall fitness, swimming style, and health.
This course is designed for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Swimmers who are looking to improve their fitness, endurance and speed.
✅ Who is it for?
Join our structured session in the 40m sea water pool in Clontarf. You will learn how to train more efficiently and effectively in an open water setting and apply it to your own open water training sessions. Learn all your open water skills, improve your speed, endurance and fitness levels in the comfort of the outdoor pool.
We want all swimmers to have the confidence to enjoy the experience of swimming in the open waters. The speed and flow of each clinic will adapt to the needs and ability of the swimmers involved. Our highly experienced, dedicated coaches will be there to support, encourage and guide you through the process.

🏊 Impressions: Adult Swimming Lessons at Clontarf Baths
First things first: You should be able to float and tread water. If you are unsure of which event to attend, we recommend registering for one of our beginner sessions. We are delighted to welcome you and determine which level is appropriate for you. Alternatively, you can use our contact form or Whatsapp us. Let’s talk.
A wetsuit is a personal preference but to enable you to stay the distance we would recommend. Unless you are swimming regularly for a prolonged period in the open water we would recommend having a wetsuit.
The pool is 900 square metres and has a depth of 1.05 metres at its lowest end and 1.875 metres at its deepest. At its broadest point, it is 40 metres in width, while its longest point measures 25 metres in length. (Note: Info taken from The Baths Website).
You may enjoy the advantages of seawater swimming in a protected and secure atmosphere at The Baths. For the sake of public health and safety, the water has been thoroughly cleansed, filtered, and very gently chlorinated. In order to swim at The Baths in Clontarf, you will need to book a session first, as The Baths is not open to walk-ins at the moment.
Public swimming is now available at the Clontarf Baths for the first time after extensive renovations. There are only a limited number of time slots available. For more information about public swimming, please contact the outdoor pool directly.
Apart from renting the premises for our own adult swimming lessons, we have NO affiliation with the Outdoor Pool in Clontarf Baths. If you are looking for public swimming options, please contact the Pool in Clontarf directly.
All payments run through Stripe, so you don’t have to worry. We accept all major Credit Cards and Debit Cards. If there is an issue with the payment, please contact us and we are happy to find a solution with you.
All payments are non-refundable. Unused camp fees may be applied to a future camp within one year of purchase date. In the unlikely event Swim Camp cancels a clinic session, a new date will be provided. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide refunds or change dates for no shows and last minute cancellations.
